Coming Full Circle…
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.”
- Hebrews 11:1
Matt and I first met through a dating app. I am from Texas and I was visiting a friend in California. We “matched” about two days before I went back to Texas; and we had exchanged just a handful of messages at that time. The day after I got back home, we had a 5-hour conversation over the phone. And the day after that, we had a 4-hour conversation. Between those two phone calls and other texts, we both had full confidence that we were the “ones” for each other. It felt supernaturally natural, but from the outside, we looked crazy to others to have this level of confidence so soon.
Sometimes I think of our relationship as, “Did we even have a choice to choose each other?” The reason is because we aligned so supernaturally that it would have been foolish and a direct rejection of God’s plan to not choose each other.
When I told my friends and family about Matt, I faced skepticism, doubt, fear, and concern from them— understandably. But, I knew that I knew that He was God’s ordained husband for me. Hearing the voices of doubt from people that I loved, however, caused me to face some doubt myself and somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster at the beginning.
Even my dad came with a full-on rebuke. That one affected me strongly because I respect him, yet I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Matt was God’s plan.
…And here we are, almost 3 years to the month since we first met, and I have been reflecting on how amazing the Lord is and what He has done because of our marriage.
I believe that there are times in our lives when God shows us a clear-as-day path, but it seems absolutely unhinged to the world. From our vantage point, nothing else makes sense other than to follow, obey, and believe. But from others’ vantage points, believing or obeying looks ludicrous.
Noah was told to build an ark. He labored away for 100 years, looking like a fool until the rains came.
Sarah was told she would have a baby in her old age. She laughed, yet God came through and provided her with Isaac.
Moses was told to stretch out his hand and the red sea would part. It must have sounded ridiculous, yet obedience is what saved the Israelites.
The Israelites were told to put the blood of a Lamb on their doorposts. They must have looked insane by doing it, but their step out in faith saved them from the plague.
Mary was told she would conceive the Messiah through the Holy Spirit. She must have faced ridicule and shame beyond belief because no one believed it, yet it was true.
You can read Hebrews 11 for more examples; it is a chapter full of faith-filled followers of God who believed in His words to them.
The reason I am saying all of this is because I believe He has been confirming to me, Matt, and many other believers (a cloud of witnesses) that the appointed time for His return (the rapture of the church) is the Feast of Trumpets– September 23-24, 2025. Since then, we’ve both made several videos about why we believe God is confirming this to us and others. If you want to check those out, they are on our YouTube page: click here to take you to our playlist.
Here is also the resource I sent out last month of the reasons and why all the boxes are checking: Possible Reasons for a 2025 Rapture.
With that, we’ve been praying every single day for God to confirm or deny this, yet every single day, there has been more evidence to the pile within all areas– biblical typologies, biblical math, biblical prophecies about the end times, what we see going on in the world, technology, media, spiritually, dreams and visions (especially strong among children), what’s happening in the spiritual growth of individuals, etc.
Likewise, with all of this evidence pointing to Sep. 23-24 being the appointed time, we are at a point where we have no choice but to believe. If we stayed on the fence of saying, “It could happen, or it couldn’t happen,” then we (personally) have the conviction that we would be operating in doubt and fear, instead of jumping-in with faith.
Just like our relationship, Matt and I gathered “evidence” through our phone calls with each other, felt the peace, and jumped in with faith to God’s plan.
Maybe you believe that Scripture disagrees with the idea that we can know specific dates… I was there too. But I realized that first of all, nothing God does is random. He has appointed times for everything He does— I can’t imagine that this event would not occur on the next feast of the Lord that is yet to be fulfilled. Second of all, what is the purpose of a watchman? It is so that they can sound the alarm when it’s the real deal– when it’s GO TIME. And all along, it has been veiled because it has not been the appointed time until now because it is in close enough proximity. I recorded this video yesterday sharing my candid thoughts about this. If you’d like to watch, click here.
Let me encourage you with some Scriptures that reveal the principle of God’s character and how this aligns with Him revealing His appointed time:
Revelation 3:3
“Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.”
In this letter to the church of Sardis, Jesus is implying that if we DO watch, we WILL know the hour He will come.
1 Thessalonians 5:3-5
“For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.”
Paul says that this day will not surprise us like a thief because we are in the light!
Amos 3:7
“Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”
The Lord wants us to know! And why? We are His bride! His family! His body! He wants those watching to be prepared and get our hearts ready. He wants us to have a smooth transition; we are about to experience the greatest yet most shocking day of our lives.
Likewise, I believe because He wants all to come to salvation, He is letting us know so that we can share the gospel one more time with those don’t believe and warn them what is going to take place. This could be their opportunity to be saved by seeing all the arrows pointing to prophecy.
Finally, the reason this is titled “Coming Full Circle” is because my relationship with Matt started by an immense choice of faith and it will end (on earth) with an immense choice of faith. And the beautiful irony is that our ministry is called Live By Faith. God knew what He was doing. He knew to bring us together to be a beacon of light and encouragement at the end of the church age. Praise the Lord. I am incredibly blessed.
With all of this being said, I am not sharing this to necessarily convince you that this is the date. Because the thruth is, whether it is right or wrong, we are at the end of the church age. Time is closing in and we will be with the Lord soon enough!
Maranatha!
